The clearest difference is in-app purchases: ER Choices at none against TrackRat's 2. ER Choices also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). TrackRat's advantage is ratings volume (10 vs 2). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TrackRat sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. ER Choices asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for TrackRat against 5.0 for ER Choices. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TrackRat has 10 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
