# MyHistory vs Proficio Academy

The clearest difference is update cadence: MyHistory at every 2 months against Proficio Academy's every 6 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MyHistory sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Proficio Academy sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MyHistory ships an update every 2 months, Proficio Academy every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
