# y笔记 vs 保小助

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: 保小助 at 13.0 against y笔记's 15.0. On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. y笔记 sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $99.99 per year and 保小助 sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

y笔记 ships an update weekly, 保小助 fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
