# Totally Fishy vs Brain Frog

The clearest difference is rating: Totally Fishy at 4.7 against Brain Frog's 3.0. Totally Fishy also leads on ratings volume (10 vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.2 vs 18.6). Brain Frog's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs every 2 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Totally Fishy sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Brain Frog sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Totally Fishy holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Totally Fishy has 10 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Totally Fishy ships an update every 2 weeks, Brain Frog weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
