# Credo vs Refugia

Credo and Refugia both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 94% of Refugia's written reviews are positive against 75% of Credo's. Refugia also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 weeks). Credo's advantage is ratings volume (572 vs 37) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.6). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Credo sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Refugia sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Credo against 4.9 for Refugia. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Credo has 572 ratings behind it against 37, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 75% of Credo's written reviews are positive against 94% of Refugia's.

Credo ships an update every 2 weeks, Refugia every 6 days. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
