# SecureSafe vs Time

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: SecureSafe at none against Time's 3. Time's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Time sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. SecureSafe asks for nothing beyond the download.

SecureSafe ships an update every 2 months, Time every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and September 12, 2026 respectively.
