# Elyon vs VitaShorts

The clearest difference is rating: VitaShorts at 5.0 against Elyon's 2.0. VitaShorts also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). Elyon's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (43 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Elyon sells 23 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and VitaShorts sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VitaShorts holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Elyon has 43 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Elyon ships an update every 2 weeks, VitaShorts every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 21, 2026.
