# HSK CERT vs DMV Practice Test

The clearest difference is review sentiment: HSK CERT at 96% against DMV Practice Test's 0%. HSK CERT also leads on rating (4.2 vs 2.3) and monetization model (freemium vs subscription). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HSK CERT sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and DMV Practice Test sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
