# Note vs Transcribe Plus

The clearest difference is ads: Transcribe Plus at none against Note's shown. Transcribe Plus also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months). Note's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Note sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Transcribe Plus sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Note ships an update every 3 months, Transcribe Plus every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
