# Sportsmo vs PlaidGolf

The clearest difference is ads: Sportsmo at none against PlaidGolf's shown. Sportsmo also leads on ratings volume (12 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.2). PlaidGolf's advantage is update cadence (daily vs every 2 weeks). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Sportsmo against 5.0 for PlaidGolf. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sportsmo has 12 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
