# Hush Diary vs avec.

The clearest difference is update cadence: avec. at every 3 days against Hush Diary's every 10 months. avec. also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hush Diary sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and avec. sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hush Diary ships an update every 10 months, avec. every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
