# Wool Escape 3D vs Happy Yarn

The clearest difference is rating: Wool Escape 3D at 4.4 against Happy Yarn's 3.2. Wool Escape 3D also leads on ratings volume (3.6K vs 19) and chart position (#166 vs unranked). Happy Yarn's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wool Escape 3D sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Happy Yarn sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Wool Escape 3D holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wool Escape 3D has 3.6K ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 8% of Wool Escape 3D's written reviews are positive against 14% of Happy Yarn's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Wool Escape 3D ships an update every 8 days, Happy Yarn every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
