# DoppelG vs Match Faces

The clearest difference is rating: DoppelG at 5.0 against Match Faces's 4.6. DoppelG also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 months). Match Faces's advantage is ratings volume (14 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DoppelG sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Match Faces sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DoppelG holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Match Faces has 14 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

DoppelG ships an update every 2 days, Match Faces every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
