# ReccePlanner vs PitNotes

The clearest difference is ads: PitNotes at none against ReccePlanner's shown. PitNotes also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.6). On price, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ReccePlanner sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and PitNotes sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
