# SuperNote vs JazRec

The clearest difference is update cadence: SuperNote at every 4 days against JazRec's every 10 days. SuperNote also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SuperNote sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and JazRec sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SuperNote ships an update every 4 days, JazRec every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
