# DreamTable vs Cruise Logger

The clearest difference is monetization model: Cruise Logger at free against DreamTable's free with in-app purchases. DreamTable's advantage is ratings volume (305 vs 1) and chart position (#159 vs unranked). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DreamTable sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Cruise Logger sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for DreamTable against 5.0 for Cruise Logger. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DreamTable has 305 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 95% of DreamTable's written reviews are positive against 100% of Cruise Logger's.

DreamTable ships an update weekly, Cruise Logger every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
