# DMVTestPass vs GetMyPermit

The clearest difference is update cadence: GetMyPermit at every 8 days against DMVTestPass's every 3 weeks. DMVTestPass's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DMVTestPass sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per 7 days and GetMyPermit sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DMVTestPass ships an update every 3 weeks, GetMyPermit every 8 days. Both last shipped on October 19, 2026.
