# NicTap vs Stepdown

The clearest difference is ads: Stepdown at none against NicTap's shown. Stepdown also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 weeks). NicTap's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NicTap sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and Stepdown sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
