# ModCraft vs Scribble Hunt

The clearest difference is price: ModCraft at Free against Scribble Hunt's $2.99. ModCraft also leads on rating (4.6 vs 3.0) and ratings volume (7.3K vs 2). Scribble Hunt's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and review sentiment (100% vs 85%). On update cadence, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

ModCraft is free to download; Scribble Hunt costs $2.99 up front. ModCraft sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Scribble Hunt asks for nothing beyond the download.

ModCraft holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ModCraft has 7.3K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 85% of ModCraft's written reviews are positive against 100% of Scribble Hunt's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
