# Train Tracker Pro vs FlightSky

The clearest difference is ads: Train Tracker Pro at none against FlightSky's shown. FlightSky's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (2.1K vs 5). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Train Tracker Pro sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and FlightSky sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FlightSky holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FlightSky has 2.1K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Train Tracker Pro ships an update every 3 weeks, FlightSky fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
