# Daily Planner vs UnderText

The clearest difference is update cadence: UnderText at weekly against Daily Planner's every 4 months. Daily Planner's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 26.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Daily Planner sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and UnderText sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Daily Planner ships an update every 4 months, UnderText weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
