# Compress Photos vs SizeFixer

The clearest difference is update cadence: SizeFixer at every 4 weeks against Compress Photos's every 8 months. Compress Photos's advantage is iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Compress Photos sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and SizeFixer sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Compress Photos ships an update every 8 months, SizeFixer every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
