# Choisy vs R3CAP

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Choisy at 60 against R3CAP's 1. Choisy also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). R3CAP's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Choisy sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and R3CAP sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

R3CAP holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Choisy has 60 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Choisy ships an update every 3 weeks, R3CAP every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
