# Flippr vs AI Comic Grading

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: AI Comic Grading at none against Flippr's 10. Flippr's advantage is ratings volume (1.9K vs 16) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 8 days). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flippr sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. AI Comic Grading asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Flippr against 4.6 for AI Comic Grading. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flippr has 1.9K ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Flippr ships an update every 3 days, AI Comic Grading every 8 days. Both last shipped on November 5, 2026.
