# Playbacks vs Accommodated

The clearest difference is update cadence: Playbacks at every 4 days against Accommodated's every 2 weeks. Playbacks also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Playbacks sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per 7 days and Accommodated sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Playbacks ships an update every 4 days, Accommodated every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
