# A vs Session

The clearest difference is update cadence: Session at weekly against A's monthly. A's advantage is iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. A sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Session sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

A ships an update monthly, Session weekly. The most recent releases landed on September 24, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
