# Falixir vs Star

The clearest difference is ads: Falixir at none against Star's shown. Star's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 4 weeks) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Falixir sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Star sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Falixir ships an update every 4 weeks, Star every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
