# Period Tracker vs Flora

The clearest difference is ads: Flora at none against Period Tracker's shown. Flora also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Period Tracker sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $29.99 per year and Flora sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Period Tracker ships an update every 2 weeks, Flora every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
