# Drawsy vs Mimicly

The clearest difference is rating: Drawsy at 4.7 against Mimicly's 3.7. Drawsy also leads on ratings volume (2.6K vs 3) and chart position (#38 vs unranked). Mimicly's advantage is monetization model (freemium vs subscription) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Drawsy sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Mimicly sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Drawsy holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Drawsy has 2.6K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 69% of Drawsy's written reviews are positive against 100% of Mimicly's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
