# SMS Forwarder vs SMS

The clearest difference is rating: SMS Forwarder at 4.3 against SMS's 1.0. SMS Forwarder also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (51 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SMS Forwarder sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and SMS sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
