# Harmony vs MindCastle

The clearest difference is update cadence: Harmony at every 5 days against MindCastle's every 3 weeks. Harmony also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). MindCastle's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Harmony sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and MindCastle sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.29 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Harmony ships an update every 5 days, MindCastle every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
