# Notes vs ReAlarmed

The clearest difference is rating: Notes at 4.8 against ReAlarmed's 4.0. Notes also leads on ratings volume (17 vs 1) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). ReAlarmed's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 11 days). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notes sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and ReAlarmed sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Notes holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Notes has 17 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Notes ships an update every 11 days, ReAlarmed every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
