# Screen Time Control vs Timmio

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Screen Time Control at none against Timmio's 3. Timmio's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 8 days) and ratings volume (11 vs 2). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Timmio sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Screen Time Control asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Screen Time Control against 4.9 for Timmio.
