# NextPurpose vs ABA Fieldwork Flow

The clearest difference is monetization model: ABA Fieldwork Flow at free against NextPurpose's freemium. ABA Fieldwork Flow also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks). NextPurpose's advantage is ratings volume (18 vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NextPurpose sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year and ABA Fieldwork Flow sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ABA Fieldwork Flow holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NextPurpose has 18 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

NextPurpose ships an update every 3 weeks, ABA Fieldwork Flow every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
