# EventPics vs PicShare

The clearest difference is ads: PicShare at none against EventPics's shown. PicShare also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EventPics sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and PicShare sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

EventPics ships an update every 2 weeks, PicShare every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
