# Overseas vs Takeoff

The clearest difference is chart position: Takeoff at #167 against Overseas's unranked. Takeoff also leads on ratings volume (22 vs 3) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Overseas sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and Takeoff sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Overseas against 5.0 for Takeoff. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Takeoff has 22 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Overseas ships an update fortnightly, Takeoff every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
