# MoonTales vs Cloudin

The clearest difference is ads: MoonTales at none against Cloudin's shown. MoonTales also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). Cloudin's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 6 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MoonTales sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and Cloudin sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MoonTales ships an update every 6 months, Cloudin monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and September 27, 2026 respectively.
