# Notelyn vs AI Notebook

The clearest difference is rating: Notelyn at 5.0 against AI Notebook's 4.3. AI Notebook's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 25%) and ratings volume (54 vs 7). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notelyn sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and AI Notebook sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Notelyn holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AI Notebook has 54 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of Notelyn's written reviews are positive against 50% of AI Notebook's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Notelyn ships an update fortnightly, AI Notebook weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
