# Even Realities vs SPECS

The clearest difference is review sentiment: SPECS at 100% against Even Realities's 41%. SPECS also leads on rating (5.0 vs 3.9). Even Realities's advantage is ratings volume (179 vs 6) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SPECS holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Even Realities has 179 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 41% of Even Realities's written reviews are positive against 100% of SPECS's.

Even Realities ships an update every 2 weeks, SPECS fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
