# BigRoad ELD vs Trux Solutions ELD

The clearest difference is rating: Trux Solutions ELD at 5.0 against BigRoad ELD's 3.9. Trux Solutions ELD also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). BigRoad ELD's advantage is ratings volume (3.1K vs 2) and review sentiment (47% vs 33%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Trux Solutions ELD holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BigRoad ELD has 3.1K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 47% of BigRoad ELD's written reviews are positive against 33% of Trux Solutions ELD's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
