# Cyan Glasses vs DPVR

The clearest difference is rating: DPVR at 4.0 against Cyan Glasses's 3.1. Cyan Glasses's advantage is ratings volume (24 vs 2) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

DPVR holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cyan Glasses has 24 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Cyan Glasses ships an update every 5 weeks, DPVR every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
