# Book Leaf vs Keeps

The clearest difference is ads: Book Leaf at none against Keeps's shown. Book Leaf also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Book Leaf sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Keeps sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Book Leaf ships an update every 2 weeks, Keeps every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
