# Exresto vs Excart POS

The clearest difference is update cadence: Excart POS at weekly against Exresto's fortnightly. Exresto's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Exresto sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Excart POS sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Exresto ships an update fortnightly, Excart POS weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
