# HZVPN vs Nthbe

The clearest difference is rating: Nthbe at 4.4 against HZVPN's 3.4. Nthbe also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks) and review sentiment (60% vs 44%). HZVPN's advantage is ratings volume (109 vs 8). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HZVPN sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Nthbe sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Nthbe holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HZVPN has 109 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 44% of HZVPN's written reviews are positive against 60% of Nthbe's.

HZVPN ships an update every 2 weeks, Nthbe every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
