# CoreWeight vs FitCat

The clearest difference is device support: CoreWeight at 4 against FitCat's 2. FitCat's advantage is iOS requirement (15.5 vs 18.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CoreWeight sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and FitCat sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
