# SBA vs ECMS

The clearest difference is update cadence: ECMS at every 8 days against SBA's every 7 months. SBA's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SBA ships an update every 7 months, ECMS every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on September 15, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
