# Counter Service vs YardLink Eats

The clearest difference is update cadence: YardLink Eats at every 3 weeks against Counter Service's every 6 months. Counter Service's advantage is ratings volume (10 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.5). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Counter Service against 5.0 for YardLink Eats. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Counter Service has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Counter Service ships an update every 6 months, YardLink Eats every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 15, 2026 and September 13, 2026 respectively.
