# Countdown & Widget vs Closer

The clearest difference is update cadence: Countdown & Widget at every 3 days against Closer's every 9 days. Closer's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Countdown & Widget sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Closer sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Countdown & Widget ships an update every 3 days, Closer every 9 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
