# 7 vs Pixel QR

The clearest difference is ads: 7 at none against Pixel QR's shown. Pixel QR's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 6 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 7 sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Pixel QR sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

7 ships an update every 6 weeks, Pixel QR every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
