# VPN Lite vs NOX

The clearest difference is review sentiment: NOX at 100% against VPN Lite's 53%. NOX also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ads (none vs shown). VPN Lite's advantage is ratings volume (2.5K vs 17). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPN Lite sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. NOX asks for nothing beyond the download.

NOX holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VPN Lite has 2.5K ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 53% of VPN Lite's written reviews are positive against 100% of NOX's.
